He Said She Said

On Thursday night, I had a good time at Barnes and Noble in Portsmouth. Mike Sullivan and I did our He Said She Said booktalks to a group of local teachers. With Mike talking about the "boy" books and me taking on the "girl" books, we just never know where we'll go. This time we only had one book on both lists -- Going Bovine by Libba Bray, this year's Printz winner. Actually my list -- which was prepared weeks ago -- did have a lot of the ALA winners and honor books included. Always fun to team up with Mike.
