Reichert, Paul. THE LEMONADE RIPPLE : A SWEET STORY OF KINDNESS AND CHARITY New York : Better World Kids Books, 2012 IL K-3, RL 3.4 ISBN 1616087013 Caroline's best day started when she fell out of a lemon tree. OK, it doesn't sound like a good thing but you will find out how this became a good thing. You see, Caroline's grandmother decided to take her to the doctor just to be on the safe side. You know how grandmothers are! At the doctor's, Caroline saw her friend Shannon. Shannon had been ill a few years ago and now uses a wheelchair to get around. Caroline noticed that the wheelchair was in really bad shape. Shannon explained that she needed a new one but they were very expensive and they just couldn't afford it yet. And that is when Caroline got her super idea that changed a whole town.
