Ada lives in a slum.  It is one of the poorest towns in Paraguay.  The town is actually made up of trash. Every day trucks arrive to dump more and more trash.  And everyday, the people of the town sort through the trash looking for things they can use or sell.  Ada is only 8 so she cannot become one of the a recyclers yet.  She and her sister wander through the town and watch the older boys who have joined gangs.  But this is all about to change.  A man who is new to the town has offered free music lessons to children who are interested.  Of course Ada is but there is a big problem.  More than 20 kids sign up and there are only three guitars and two violins.  Would this just be another disappointment to Ada?
