Bee has a large birthmark on her face and she tries to keep to herself. Pauline runs the hotdog stand and is the closest thing Bee has to a mother. When Pauline leaves to work at another carnival, Bee takes off in search of a real home. Together with her pets, she finds a home with two mysterious women who take her in and offer her a home. But there is something very odd about these women. Why is it that Bee is the only one who can see them?
