Dave was little, he was really
little. All the kids made fun of his size and his
dreams. He wanted to be a professional athlete and maybe
play on one of his Boston teams someday. His grandfather was
always there with support and words of advice. When he was
twelve, he started running. Twelve miles on his 12th
birthday, 13 on his 13th birthday and he kept going. When he
was 17, he decided to run the Boston marathon -- 26.2 miles!
