A 6th grade class has been working hard all week on their author studies glogs. I can't wait to see them and share them. Their teacher says there are some great projects and exceeded her expectations. We talked about how technology can level the playing field for some kids. Even her lowest level kids did great. I love hearing this as I spend a lot of time promoting the use of Web 2.0 tools.
There is a new version of Erik Qualman’s Social Media Revolution video that has updated stats about the use of social media. I don't think there can be any doubt that we must allow our students to use these tools in the classroom. They sure are using them on their own time!
