  Brees, Drew. Dropped by the Chargers, he worked harder than ever to build himself back up and was drafted to be the quarterback of the New Orleans Saints in 2006, just one year after the city had suffered the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Largely written off, both the city and the quarterback began the long process of rebuilding together. Inspiring his city, and the nation, Brees led the Saints to Super Bowl victory in 2009, proving to the world that not only can you get up after a great and terrible fall, you can come back stronger.
